The Role
This is an impactful role for a hands-on Full Stack Engineer looking to make a mark. As the first in this role, you’ll shape our core technology by developing features across the stack. If you’re a creative problem-solver with a passion for both frontend and backend, you’ll thrive in our collaborative, small-team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications, working fluidly across frontend and backend components.
- User Experience: Bring UX/UI designs to life using modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular to create a user-friendly experience that feels seamless and intuitive.
- API & Backend Integration: Partner with the platform team to integrate APIs, ensuring smooth data interactions between the frontend and backend.
- Quality & Efficiency: Write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices for a high-quality product.
- Deployment & Testing: Support deployment and testing to ensure stability and functionality for every release.
Skills and Experience
- Full Stack Proficiency: Experienced in building both frontend and backend components with strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Backend Know-How: Skilled in backend languages like Node.js, Go, Kotlin, or Ruby and comfortable with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Problem Solver: Proactive approach to solving complex challenges, with a focus on the complete user journey.
- Team Player: Effective communicator and team collaborator, especially in a small, fast-moving company environment.
The Benefits
Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $150,000 - $190,000, along with equity in the company. This role also offers other benefits like Health, Dental and 401k.
