One of our favorite clients is seeking a Release Train Engineering Consulting for a consulting engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various tools and techniques.
- Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs).
- Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a continuous exploration process.
- Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency.
- Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation.
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
- Help manage risks and dependencies, escalate and track impediments.
- Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve.
- Foster collaboration between teams and system-level stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- SAFe certification is required.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar.
