Job Overview: Insight Global is partnered with our local Fortune 500 client to hire several HVAC Building Engineers. Our client is an industry leader within the HVAC and Building Automation space. These positions would be supporting multiple locations between Indianapolis, IN and Lebanon, IN for a large pharmaceutical customer.
Day to Day: These HVAC Building Engineers will be traveling to various commercial locations to review and provide preventative maintenance to our clients HVAC equipment. This candidate will be responsible to verify the hardware/software is working correctly in accordance to a sequence of operations. If there are issues within the HVAC equipment, it will be this candidate's responsibility to make the necessary changes and help alleviate the issue.
Requirements:
- Fundamental understanding of commercial HVAC systems (understanding of how of the software and hardware integrate to make the product work)
- Strong interest and desire to learn the software programming side of HVAC controls (building automation systems)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings, sequences of operation
- Ability to run HVAC equipment through a serious of tests, point to point checks ensuring software and hardware are acting in accordance
Compensation: $30/hour to $40/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
