This reputable company is seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand their client base and grow their business.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving strategic growth within the commercial construction market. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential clients in the commercial construction sector.
- Focus on securing projects in retail, restaurants, fitness facilities, and shopping centers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with senior management to meet company growth objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events and meetings to promote services and develop new partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to prepare competitive bids and project proposals.
- Monitor industry trends and market conditions to stay ahead of the competition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the construction industry, particularly in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge and network within the Virginia commercial construction market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required.
