Contract to Hire: 3 months contract then conversion to permanent
Contract Rate: $45/hr
Conversion Salary: $80,000-90,000

Job Description
The Desktop Application Automation Administrator provides guidance, direction and ongoing support for the packaging and deployment of our enterprise applications through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager/SCCM, Intune and PowerShell as well as software implementation and Parent maintenance/creation within VMWare’s virtual desktop environments and Citrix application presentation. The position works with both vendor and IT Asset Management to ensure packages and software are compliant and are implemented securely with minimal impact to the end user.

- How would you rate yourself using Powershell (1 to 5)? Have you created your own scripts for automating in SCCM?

Requirements
Maintain the day-to-day operations of configuration management platforms including application deployment.
Thoroughly evaluate, validate, and create application packages and validation cases, and ensure that packages provide detailed logs; document and provide evaluation results.
Create and drive proactive monitoring and reporting for endpoint health, patching, compliance, and other performance metrics.
Maintain client hardware standards including client configuration and test leading edge technology.
Work as the escalation point between various IT support teams for issues with applications on both physical and virtual machines.
Administer enterprise software including deployment through Intune, and MECM/SCCM.
Administer enterprise software including virtual deployment through VMware Horizon and Citrix application presentation.
Drive client security model and best practices.
Identify internal processes and automation improvements and deploy scalable technical solutions.
Manage transition plans for major upgrades or patches.
Diagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems.
Administrate Group Policy and FSLogix settings to better integrate software across all computing environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related / similar technical field or equivalent industry experience.
Extensive experience with Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
Expertise with PowerShell scripting.
Experience managing and implementing GPOs
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
