Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Carrollton, TX
Type: Full-Time (Perm)
Hours: 40 hrs/wk (OT eligible)
Shift: Mon-Friday: 6am-2:30pm CST
Compensation: $29-33/hour -Full Benefits!
Responsibilities:
- Install, program, and repair automated machinery such as programmable controllers.
- Install and repair electrical systems, including transformers, wiring, and machinery components.
- Install and maintain pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment, replacing gauges, valves, and regulators as needed.
- Inspect and test machinery for issues, listening for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions.
- Diagnose problems and make necessary repairs by dismantling and fixing defective machines.
- Clean and lubricate parts such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
- Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility.
- Operate machine tools like lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to repair or make parts.
- Use welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricate and repair wooden structures like counters, benches, and partitions.
Qualifications:
- Technical proficiency in industrial electricity, PLC controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and tracking equipment issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Ability to design, build, fabricate, and weld projects.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Ability to read and understand instruction manuals, blueprints, and specifications.
- Knowledgeable in tool and equipment design and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of manual, air, and electric tools, including wrenches, welders, grinders, crimp tools, soldering irons, and various other tools.
- Flexible and available for on-call situations to address abnormal conditions.
