At Domify, we are building an enterprise Generative AI platform to tackle the complex world of compliance and regulations in wealth management. Domify leverages public and private sources of information, and proprietary workflows, to help financial services firms administer firm compliance and supervision policies at scale.
Domify is seeking an experienced Gen AI engineer to build the Domify AI platform in partnership with the founding engineers and management team.
In this role you will work closely with early clients, subject matter experts and board advisors, leveraging your AI and ML skills to build the foundational layer underpinning our platform. You will tackle complex business problems and workflow, utilizing the latest in Gen AI architectural approaches (e.g. agentic workflows, chain of thought etc.) and frameworks to deliver an innovative AI powered platform to the market.
Domify is a seed stage startup, part of the DVx Ventures platform and has received outside funding from Vestigo Ventures.
Location: Candidates in New York Area only. You will work out of our midtown office 3 days a week.
Salary: $175,000 + equity
What you will do:
- Build the foundations of our AI platform: v1 of Domify’s AI platform; make key decisions, shaping the AI stack; choice of LLM orchestration approaches; and solving data science problems
- Design AI systems to solve complex workflows: You will play a vital role in designing new-to-market AI workflows, agents and interfaces; solving industry problems through a creative application of Generative AI in an enterprise context
- Rapid Innovation: Domify works on a weekly release cadence. You are comfortable in agile environments, solving new challenges through a creative application of new technologies, and an adaptive mindset to changing client requirements

Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 5 years+ of technology work experience including 3 years + in data science, AI or ML
- Hands-on experience with new product creation, ideally within startups.
- Domain expertise in financial services, wealth and investment management is a plus
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc); a PhD is a plus.
- Relevant experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Agile or Scrum expertise in software development methodologies.
