Our leading New York-based law firm is seeking a talented Transactional IP Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile intellectual property matters in a collaborative environment, balancing both in-office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, technology transfer, and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide strategic IP counseling and guidance on trademark, copyright, and patent portfolio management.
- Support M&A and other corporate transactions by conducting IP due diligence and advising on IP-related risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clients’ broader business goals and ensure IP protection and compliance.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in New York.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in transactional intellectual property law, preferably within a law firm or in-house environment.
- Strong background in drafting and negotiating IP contracts, particularly in technology, media, or related sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
