Site Reliability Engineer, Virtualization
W2 Contract
Salary Range: $124,800 - $145,600 per year
Location: Remote Role - PST
Job Summary:
We require a Site Reliability Engineer with solid experience supporting an Infrastructure as a Service virtualization platform, Linux computing, and capacity planning.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Service orchestration tools such as OpenStack and CloudStack
- Good understanding of Linux system administration
- Experience with Linux system virtualization, including Libvirt, QEMU, and KVM
- Capacity management and planning experience with Infrastructure and Cloud
- Skilled in infrastructure resource utilization analysis, demand and capacity data analysis
- Able to automate publish data into data lakes and build dashboards using Apache Superset
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for alerting and monitoring
- Experience managing, scaling, and troubleshooting Java applications
- Working understanding of common authentication schemes, certificates, and securely managing secrets
- Able to develop advanced telemetry and observability for services at various levels (API, runtime, infrastructure, log analysis, etc.)
- Golang experience is preferred for tool building and automation.
