Ultimate Staffing is engaged in a direct hire search for a Director of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery. This position will develop and maintain policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for assessing risks and managing a team of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery professionals. To be successful in this position, you will need an in-depth understanding of BC/DR, strong leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Strategize with C-Suite and Sr. Executives to develop and refine policies and processes
- Develop and communicate a clear vision for the BC/DR program
- Track performance metrics to confirm effectiveness of the BC/DR program
- Evaluate the company's current resiliency and readiness, identify risks and develop remediation strategies
- Responsible for mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Perform Business Impact Analysis on all locations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field
- 8+ years of experience (mostly in leadership roles) within business continuity or disaster recovery in the financial services industry
- Deep understanding and knowledge of BC/DR practices and FFIEC guidance
- Excellent communication skills with experience interacting with Sr. management
- Analytical and strategic/critical thinking skills
- CBCP or MBCP professional certification required
