Our client, a prominent oil and gas company located in downtown Houston, is seeking an HR Administrative Support Specialist on an indefinite contract basis. This role is essential for supporting the HR team in talent acquisition, onboarding, and other administrative functions, particularly utilizing Workday’s recruiting module. The ideal candidate has around five years of HR administrative experience, including proficiency with Workday workflows and requisition management. This position is based in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, offering a 9/80 schedule and a stunning downtown office.
Key Responsibilities
- Workday Recruiting Support: Serve as the primary contact for managing the recruiting process within Workday, including creating and tracking requisitions and ensuring alignment with company workflows.
- Candidate and Requisition Management: Oversee job requisition postings, updates, and maintenance in Workday; track candidate progress throughout the recruitment pipeline, collaborating closely with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Input candidate and requisition data accurately into Workday and run reports as needed for team metrics and updates.
- Onboarding Coordination: Assist with onboarding activities, including documentation, scheduling, and communication with new hires.
- HR Administrative Support: Provide general support to the HR team, handling inquiries, scheduling, and file management in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Experience: Approximately 5 years of HR administrative support experience, with hands-on expertise in Workday’s recruiting processes and workflows.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday (recruiting module) and MS Office Suite.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in data management.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Location Requirement: Ability to work onsite in downtown Houston.
