IT Lab Technical Support Specialist - Long Term Contract

Our client requires an experienced onsite IT Lab Technical support resource, primarily for research labs (non-GxP). You will work with IT Tech lead and support full life cycle of Lab computer systems. This includes working w/ lab vendors to install lab computer/software, managing end-point protection, backup/recovery, organizing lab data etc. The resource should have excellent communication skills and be able to follow prioritization and mange lab user's expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day IT support for lab systems, participating in IT projects for lab services including installing, maintaining, and supporting computerized systems
- Support IT operations team on all cybersecurity and end-point management requirements for lab systems.
- Communicate with/ vendors on any troubleshooting and issues resolution for lab systems.
- Utilize Service Now application to coordinate support activities.
- Knowledge Base (KB) documentation creation and updates.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Min 5 years experience working with computerized systems in lab setting
- Hands on experience implementing laboratory systems (e.g. Waters, Agilent, GE, Sartorius, Thermo Fisher, Cytiva etc.)
- Experience, maintaining and providing system administration support for IT systems, documentation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage support requests in fast paced environment
