Key Details:
- Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

- Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts (in-person)

Additional qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1 year of medical office and customer service experience (preferred). Industry experience is a bonus!
- Proficient in EMR platforms (Brightree experience is a plus!).
- Comfortable learning new software and navigating multiple systems.
- Ability to manage patient records, verify insurance, and handle co-pays.
- Experienced in customer service, especially in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, phone).
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to pivot quickly and handle high-volume situations with ease.
- Maintain professionalism while being personable and approachable.
What You’ll Do:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, both in person and over the phone, providing a warm, welcoming presence and excellent support. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patients feel cared for from the moment they walk through the clinic doors or call in. A typical day will consist of:
- Greeting patients in person and assisting with check-in procedures
- Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments while managing patient records in Brightree
- Providing thorough benefit explanations and verifying insurance/authorizations
- Collecting copays and processing payments
- Processing orders and reviewing documentation for accuracy
- Maintaining detailed documentation and patient files
- Performing other front desk tasks and duties as assigned
