A well-established law firm in San Diego is seeking a dedicated Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of three years of California litigation experience to join its team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively support attorneys in all aspects of litigation, from case management to client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal administrative support to litigation attorneys.
- Manage case files, maintain calendars, and schedule hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents and correspondence in compliance with California court procedures.
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as necessary.
- Conduct legal research and assist with document review and discovery responses.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in California.
- Proficient in legal document formatting and familiar with California e-filing systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Compensation:
On perm: $85k - $100k annually
