You will play a key role in leading project execution, ensuring technical and commercial excellence and helping to build a world class service business supporting solar and battery energy storage markets in the USA.
Job summary
We’re looking for a Project Manager eager to take an active role in Leading our projects. As a Project Manager, you will be crucial in keeping our operations on track, providing Leadership to field teams, project management, and customer teams. Your responsibilities will include being the primary point of contact to our clients, leading the project team, procurement team, engineering team and third party consultants to guarantee the project meets all schedule, financial milestones, managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs, and serving as a primary point of contact for all project stakeholders
Knowledge: You are the project team leader, responsible for the execution of all construction process, safety and quality standards. Your experience managing field teams and in leading construction projects will be an asset to the team as you guide junior members of the team, work with all project stake holders and take exclusive responsibility for the safe execution of the project.
Job Complexity: You’ll tackle problems needed to make sure that the projects are completed in accordance with the EPC contract, relying on standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and find readily available solutions. This role requires you to build stable working relationships within the organization.
Some Specific Roles & Responsibilities
· Has a “Can do” spirit and leads the company with the support of the VP, CEO and board. Takes on tasks and does whatever it takes to make sure that the company is successful.
· Reporting to the EVP; will be part of the team that assumes responsibility for successfully winning work, negotiating EPC contracts and then executing the company's standalone and co-located solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects nationally.
· Build and lead a team of Operations professionals with focus on project execution, Internal Process development, Program Management, technical due diligence, design optimization, technical project development and support for all technical and commercial tasks.
· Expertise in EPC Bid Development, budget and cost management
· Conduct thorough project assessments to develop accurate and competitive project estimates
· Carry these estimates through the vetting process and prepare subcontracts.
· Collaborate with the Operations team to manage all submittals, RFIs, scheduling, budgeting, Change Orders, and invoicing
· Provide appropriate teams access for document sharing to subcontractors
· Be the main point of contact for clients
· Provide technical expertise during client meetings and negotiations to ensure alignment with project requirements
· Developing Internal Process for Document Management, Schedule and Cost Control, Contract Control and Adherence
· Issue Vendor Purchase Orders and Subcontracts
· Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in project execution
· Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize internal workflows
· Project/Program status reporting
· Participate in on-site visits and inspections to ensure project feasibility and success
· Travel as needed to oversee project/process implementation and address any field-related challenges
· Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
· Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture
Supervision: You are a self starter and will be expected to show diligence and follow through with all tasks. You understand that your communication with stakeholders and your diligent follow through is directly impacting the project completion milestones. You will be responsible for execution of the EPC contract milestones and project deliverables including the financial success for the entire project. You will report directly to the Executive Vice President.

Minimum Qualifications
We consider any combination of education and experience that, in our judgment, provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required licenses or certifications may also qualify.
Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Licensure/Certifications: None required.
Experience: We expect that you have at least 3 years of General or EPC project management experience, in solar or in working for a general contractor or EPC firm.
Driving Record: A valid state-issued driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
Travel: This role is hybrid requires part time travel to project sites daily.
