POSITION SUMMARY: The Front of House Manager position assists the General Manager in the overall operations of the restaurant, ensure the business is profitable through successful staffing, associate development, effective scheduling, managing labor costs, meeting or exceeding sales budgets, and demonstrating the mission and values to drive results and excellent service.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Familiar with restaurant industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures
• Ability to effectively interact with a diverse population of Associates, Management and Guests
• Demonstrate leadership by utilizing sound judgment when making business related decisions
• Subject matter expert regarding Guest relations required to support Associates of the restaurant
• Work under pressure within a well-integrated team environment
• Able to consistently maintain a professional and respectful demeanor
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software, internal POS system and Toast Timekeeping
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Ensures that regulatory guidelines of the food services industry are being followed by all employees
• Responsible for the consistent execution of daily tasks necessary to manage the business according to company policy
• Responsible for maintaining high quality Management and consistency standards as it relates to Associate compliance of policy and procedures
• Responsible for selection, onboarding, status changes and termination of Associates following company policy and procedures
• Assists in inventory control and budgeting
• Responsible for stocking and maintaining inventory
• Responsible for training new employees
• Ensure that all federal, state, local laws, safety and compliance matters are proactively managed for the restaurant
• All other responsibilities as dictated by the business or assigned by the Senior Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education and/or years of experience:
∙ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
∙ 2-4 years of related experience
B. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: (applicable to position)
∙ Required Food Safety Certification (CA)
∙ Required Harassment Training Certification (CA)

Exposure to a variety of sharp eating and cooking utensils or cooking instruments and cooking equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
