Equipment and Maintenance Manager
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Equipment & Maintenance Manager to join our client in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in equipment and maintenance, with a strong focus on mid-duty trucks. This role requires a deep understanding of maintenance and repair, including Cummins analysis, transmissions, and hook lift hoists.

- Compensation: $75,000-$85,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, and supervising the maintenance staff and functions. This includes inspecting, repairing, and performing pre- and post-servicing on equipment.
- Conduct analysis and manage transmissions and hook lift hoists.
- Review daily inspection sheets.
- Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department.
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
- Implement workplace safety polices and standards.
- Understand and troubleshoot hydraulic power take-off (PTO) systems.
- Diagnose issues over the phone and provide actionable suggestions.
- Utilize contacts to manage out-of-state breakdowns and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Communicate effectively with dealers and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Maintain general trucking knowledge and stay updated with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in equipment and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of mid-duty trucks.
- Proficiency in Cummins analysis, transmissions, and hook lift hoists.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and PTO systems.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to provide remote support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage dealer relationships.
Work Environment:
- This position is primarily on-site, with some remote work flexibility.
- MUST be local to Nashville, TN.
