Minimum Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- 10 years of experience in developing machined components in milling centers
- 5 years of experience in 4 and 5-axis milling work
- Fluency in CAD/CAM appropriate for the development of said manufacturing processes
- Theoretical understanding of the key metrics and parameters associated with the design of manufacturing processes for complex machined components
- Demonstrated technical depth in the analysis of, and development of solutions for the challenges in the fabrication and qualification of complex machined components
- Strong communication skills including demonstrated ability to create clear reports and documentation
- Ability to lead small teams of machinists, inspectors, and other skilled labor
- Enthusiastic desire to help drive engineering effort and capability of a company to best in class
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, or machine tool technology or related field
- Expertise in Esprit CAM software
- Expertise in SolidWorks CAD software
- Experience in Vericut or equivalent
- Experience with Hypermill
- Experience in a GROB environment
- Project management capabilities centered around the development of project plans and workload/time estimates as well as reporting against project milestones, and developing solutions to close project gaps
- Experience in digital manufacturing and development of digital manufacturing capability
