Our team is expanding and we are excited to bring on an Asset Management Lead. We’re looking for someone who has experience and is well-versed in IT asset management, is passionate about optimizing processes and ensuring seamless operations, and thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics to track and manage departmental KPIs and SLAs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement of performance metrics
- Be the primary escalation point to triage, investigate and resolve operational escalations
- Foster effective communication between team members and stakeholders
- Partner with Asset Management Specialists on task prioritization, ensuring team deadlines are met
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed
- Coordinate with 3PL providers for smooth daily operations
- Continually assess existing processes and proactively make recommendations to management for process improvement, especially in areas where ownership is ambiguous
- Partner with the Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as the liaison to resolve issues when needed
- Lead and manage internal projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder sign-off
- Proactively seek opportunities to coach (where applicable) and share knowledge with team members
- Prepare and maintain documentation in order to support cross-functional enablement
- Generate flowcharts and visual aids in order to support cross-functional enablement
- Ensure timely resolution of action requests and ticket prioritization
- Provide recommendations to optimize the team’s ticketing system and enable team members on best practices for effective queue management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in IT asset management or supply chain roles
- Strong potential for leadership and team management responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement SOPs
- Passionate about process improvement
- Experience in vendor management
- Proficiency in project management and time management
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in using ticketing systems and other relevant software tools
