Systems Engineer – Contract or CTP – Kennesaw, GA – $65.00 - $70.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer in Kennesaw, GA.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for and Active Directory and EntraID.
• Knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies including security features.
• Provide comprehensive systems engineering support, focusing on Windows servers, Citrix, and VMware.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Support cloud integration efforts, with a preference for Azure experience.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design, create, install, configure, and maintain current server operating systems and repair server hardware.
• Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems
• Identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective new or more effective technology solutions.
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the current information systems.
• Consult on and manage the appropriate setup of applications hosted on virtualized systems.
• Provide level three support to the IT Service Center.
• Develop appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes.
• Work with IT Risk Management and security to reduce IT and business risk.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and response.
Skills & Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 8 plus years of relevant professional experience.
• Working experience with Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies including security features.
• Design, implementation, and management of AD and EntraID.
• Sound working knowledge of systems infrastructure and operations, including switching, routing, Ethernet, TCP/IP.
• Robust working knowledge of remote access technology.
