Job Overview:
We seek dedicated Unarmed Security Officers to provide on-site security services on a full-time contract basis. This position offers up to 32 hours per week, with flexible shift availability, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors through vigilant monitoring and swift response to potential security threats.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Routine Patrols: Monitor assigned areas, including building interiors, exteriors, and parking lots, to ensure safety and security.
- Enforce Access Control: Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring only authorized individuals access restricted areas.
- Monitor Surveillance Systems: Operate and observe security cameras and alarms, responding promptly to suspicious activities or breaches.
- Report Incidents: Document and report all security-related incidents, such as trespassing, theft, or property damage, to supervisors and law enforcement if necessary.
- Respond to Emergencies: Act swiftly in emergencies such as fire alarms, medical situations, or security breaches, following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders.
- Provide Assistance: Offer guidance and support to employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring a secure environment and addressing safety concerns.
- Maintain Security Equipment: Ensure that all security equipment, such as radios and surveillance systems, are in working order and report any malfunctions.

- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Basic understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, monitor premises, and respond to incidents.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior security or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid Security Officer License.
- CPR, First Aid, or AED certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
Working Conditions:
- This position may involve standing or walking for extended periods.
- May require working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to handle potentially confrontational situations with tact and professionalism.

- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Overnight shift

Commute: Must have reliable transportation to and from the job sites.
