Job Description:
Title: Workstation PC Technician (3 open positions)
Duration: 24-month contract (2 years+)
Type: Fully onsite, 5 days/week
Location: 1 required in San Diego, 1 required in Portland, OR & 1 required in Denver (all 3 positions have varied pay rates based upon the candidate's locations)**
Compensation:
$21/hr to $23/hr***
$21/hr (Denver & Portland)
$23/hr max (San Diego, CA)
Schedule: 7am-4pm or 8am - 5pm (shift varies upon location)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience with PC support, including deployment and imaging.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Well-versed in installing windows, software, applications.
- PC Desktop, Laptop and Tablet expertise Basic Desktop and Networking support knowledge on Windows Operating systems, OS error conditions, IPConfig Command, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group policy.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Known for working efficiently without supervision and can lead others (may lead refresh team activities).
- *Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel from site to site - won't exceed 10-20 mile radius*
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
- Mac experience is a plus.
Job Description:
A large healthcare company is looking for a candidate that will support a robust Microsoft based network running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, etc.. The ideal candidate will need PC, desktop, laptop and tablet expertise in order to perform the duties of this position. Some main responsibilities include but are not limited to: receiving assets, moving equipment within and/or between facilities, staging equipment for build/image activity, interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery, executing equipment replacement activity, updating asset management systems to reflect work performed, and monitoring daily activity. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining PC hardware/software, troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals, performing system backups and data recovery, resolving network communication problems independently, disk capacity monitoring and network security, and various administration tasks. We are looking for someone that is comfortable interacting with clients face to face on a daily basis and has excellent customer service. The role is a 2 year-long contract to start.
