Piper Maddox has partnered with an EPC company to search for an experienced Substation Construction Manager. This company has a strong presence in Europe and Latin America and has started winning projects in the U.S., so they are expanding their team. This is a key hire, offering an opportunity for rapid career growth within the business.
In this role, you will oversee the commercial, technical, and budgetary aspects of a construction project, planning each phase to align with contractual milestones and resource requirements. You will also coordinate closely with site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely progress, adherence to design specifications, and effective cost management.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in substation construction and a solid knowledge of interconnection procedures
- Experience with Solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
- Knowledge of Inflation Reduction Act compliance, ideally with experience on a project financed by it
- Background in electrical design
- Experience with ProCore; SAP experience is a plus
