Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and schedule field service technicians for calibration, maintenance, and repair visits based on customer requirements and technician availability.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly service routes, optimizing technician assignments to maximize efficiency, minimize travel time, and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate with clients to confirm service appointments, address scheduling conflicts, and ensure that all client needs are understood and met.
- Track job progress and update schedules in real-time to account for delays, cancellations, or urgent requests.
- Manage the logistics of service orders, including equipment availability, technician certifications, and required documentation.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and operations teams to align schedules with customer contracts, service agreements, and priority levels.
- Monitor and report on key scheduling metrics such as technician utilization rates, on-time service delivery, and service completion times.
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling software, ensuring data integrity and timely updates for all stakeholders.
- Assist in workforce planning by forecasting service demand and identifying resource gaps.
- Implement and continuously improve scheduling processes and tools to enhance overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.
