Join Planned Parenthood Association of Utah as a Grants Administrator and help make a meaningful impact! In this role, you'll manage the execution and tracking of government and private grants, with a focus on overseeing the Title X grant as the Title X Administrator. You’ll ensure full compliance with regulations set by the Office of Population Affairs, while managing grant proposals, budgets, and expenditures. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of grant administration for government, private, PPFA and other grants awarded to PPAU.
- Manage all aspects of the Title X grant, including application process, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and training.
- Ensure that grants are utilized in accordance with established guidelines.
- In collaboration with the Chief Compliance Officer, monitors grant activities to ensure compliance with Title X regulations, federal guidelines and organization policies. Develop and implement strategies to address any compliance issues that may arise.
- Coordinate and support the preparation and submission of grant proposals and applications. Work with staff to gather necessary information and develop compelling proposals.
- Oversee and track all other grant-related activities, including data collection, reporting, and maintaining organized records.
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure cohesive grant management, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and addressing concerns in real-time.
- Provide training and support to staff members involved in Title X grant activities, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities and are equipped to fulfill them effectively.
- Works with CFO and CDO to prospect new grant opportunities, oversee the grant calendar, and ensure timely application and reporting.
- Attend and participate in all mandatory training and meetings and engages in professional development opportunities.
- Represent Planned Parenthood Association of Utah professionally with funding partners, community stakeholders, during public engagements and while promoting the organization's mission and services.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as public health, healthcare administration or business administration or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant administration, preferably with a focus on Title X or other federal funding programs.
- Knowledge in federal grant management principles and practices and/or Title X experience preferred but not required.
- Strong project coordination, task tracking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with proficiency in preparing clear and persuasive written materials.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills; adept at working under tight deadlines.
- Experience in financial tracking, budget preparation, and administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite Grants Administration module, and Raiser’s Edge.
