The Manhattan and White Plains New York offices are seeking to add an Attorney (3+ years experience) to the Commercial Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, have strong professional judgment, be a problem solver and have a strong work ethic.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- JD degree required with New York Bar Admission
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience
- Research and drafting motions, pleadings, discovery, document review
- Construction Contract review and drafting
- Conducting commercial depositions, court appearances for motions and conferences
- Trial experience a plus
- Interact with clients and opposing counsel
- Excellent legal research, sophisticated writing ability and strong verbal communication are essential
- Proactive, resourceful and ability to work supervised and independently
- License/Certification: NYS Bar
