Position Overview
Spring Oaks Capital, LLC has opened a new contact center in Albuquerque, NM and is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to orchestrate the daily HR functions of employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, wellness, FMLA, recruiting, benefits, employee engagement, safety and professional development. In this role you will assist in building processes, policies and systems that support the department, and our employees alike, all with the goal of delivering satisfaction at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Administers programs/practices for onsite and remote employees, including but not limited to: employee benefits, wellness, FMLA, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, employee engagement/culture/morale, safety and professional development.
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Participates in employee terminations, to include exit interviews.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention; focus on ensuring remote staff feels connected to the heart of the organization
- Conducts new hire onboarding.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and effectively leads the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring federal, state and local employment laws.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and makes recommendations.
- When needed:
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts background and drug screening.
- Responds to sentiments on social media platforms as they relate to human resources matters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education
- Minimum 5 years working in the human resources industry, to include experience resolving employee relations matters.
- 2+ years recruiting experience.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a call center environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- ADP TotalSource experience a plus.
- SHRM-CP or PHR required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel occasionally if necessary.
