The Role:
As a Personal Injury Attorney at The Ledger Law Firm, you will play an integral role in representing clients who have been injured due to negligence or wrongdoing. You will manage cases from intake to resolution, working closely with clients to build compelling legal strategies while collaborating with our team of legal experts. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a passion for personal injury law and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle personal injury cases from inception to settlement or trial, including client consultations, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
- Client Advocacy: Provide expert legal counsel to clients, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the legal process and that their rights are vigorously defended.
- Negotiation & Settlement: Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel, always seeking the best possible outcome for your clients.
- Trial Experience: If needed, represent clients in court, presenting compelling arguments to judges and juries to secure favorable verdicts.
- Legal Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough legal research, analyze case facts, and develop strategies to strengthen cases and achieve successful outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case preparation and execution.
What We're Looking For:
- License: Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury law, including experience with cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, workers' compensation, and medical malpractice.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and litigation skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle a caseload efficiently.
