Job Title: Multi-Modality Technologist
Job Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) and X-Ray
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, seven days on, seven days off rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 84 hours
Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience as a registered radiology technologist; CT tech experience required.
License: Active state license with Fluoro required
Certifications:
- AART certification required
- Current State/District radiologic technologist license required
- Certification from Texas Medical Board required
Must-Have:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Job Description:
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors.
- Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors.
- Position the body correctly and review physician's orders to consistently produce high-quality radiographs.
- Reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, handling supplies, and managing contrast reactions and codes.
- Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
- Must reside within a 100-mile radius.
