We are seeking a skilled Travel Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) to provide breast imaging services at various healthcare facilities. In this role, you will travel to hospitals, outpatient centers, and clinics to perform mammograms, helping physicians in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. You will ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and image quality across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform digital mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper calibration and performance for high-quality images.
- Review and analyze mammogram images to ensure they meet quality standards before sending them to the radiologist for interpretation.
- Position and prepare patients for mammography procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
- Travel to various healthcare facilities, adapting quickly to different environments and equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and medical teams to ensure efficient and high-quality imaging services.
