Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
Job Specialty: Mammographer
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (4/10s)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, with at least 2 years in mammography and experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
License: Must possess a current and valid state License in Radiology.
Certifications:
- Must possess a current ARRT certification in Radiology with qualifications in Mammography (RT)(M).
- Must have and maintain a current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Must-Have:
- Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
- Experience in performing special procedures including stereotactic biopsy, ductograms, and needle localization procedures.
- Breast tomosynthesis training.
- Experience working with a Radiologist when assisting with special procedures.
- Fingerprinting clearance prior to start.
Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient emergency services.
- Assist in performing special procedures including stereotactic biopsies, ductograms, and needle localizations.
- Work collaboratively with Radiologists and other medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.
- Maintain high standards of patient care in a culturally rich and diverse community setting.
- Comply with all required safety and procedural protocols.
- Participate in departmental orientation, scheduled every two weeks.
- Ensure all documentation and processes are completed for housing applications before the start date.
- Assist with any additional responsibilities as required by the department.

- Orientation sessions are held every two weeks.
