Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. This role will play a pivotal part in bridging their technical capabilities with strategic business initiatives. The Internal IT Business Consultant will work collaboratively across departments to identify and implement technology-driven solutions that align with the firm’s business goals, optimize operational processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth assessments of business requirements to define and prioritize IT initiatives that align with organizational goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on potential technology enhancements, system upgrades, and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and create detailed documentation for project development.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and monitor technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
- Provide hands-on support during the testing phase to validate solution effectiveness, documenting any needed changes or updates.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance system performance across departments.
- Implement data-driven approaches to process improvements, regularly reviewing and adjusting strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of IT solutions in supporting business objectives.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during technology implementations.
- Create and deliver training sessions to ensure end-users are proficient with new tools and system updates.
- Serve as a point of contact for post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and refining processes based on feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 4+ years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field, within financial services a must.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, with a track record of successful project management and solution implementation.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in process optimization and workflow analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, such as Azure, Office 365, Geneva, and Aladdin
