THE POSITION
We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to help dial in our messaging strategy and build out earned media at PolarPro. This individual is well-versed in brand messaging, public relations and influencer marketing and how all of our comms intertwine to tell a compelling and cohesive story. The Comms Manager will also lead Social Media and Copywriting, directly overseeing our Social Media Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Development of PolarPro’s earned media strategy
- Management of Public Relations, either in-house or with agency support as dictated by strategy - creating our media outreach strategy and securing coverage across a range of targeted outlets
- Inherit our roster of influencers and ambassadors and hone in our influencer marketing strategy, managing comms, agreements, deliverables, etc., demonstrating tangible ROI
- Own all brand messaging for the business, shaping and executing the tone of voice of our marketing channels
- Oversee our Social Media Coordinator, devising content, channel and community management strategies
- Helping to lead all GTM planning and strategy, acting as a conduit from product teams to marketing and creative
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience in PR, Influencer Marketing, Social Media or, ideally, some combination of all three
- Past use/understanding of media and influencer management tools like Grin, Captiv8, Aspire, Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, etc.
- Experience managing agencies or freelance contractors
- Ability to develop broad brand messaging and GTM strategies and oversee execution of such
- Capable of building reporting and showcasing success and return on an array of brand marketing tactics
- 1 - 2 years experience with overseeing direct headcount
