Tired of cold weather? A thriving grain company located in the southwestern U.S. is seeking a self-motivated Assistant Grain Operations Manager who "takes the bull by the horns".
Applicants should possess the following:
- Ability to motivate and supervise other grain personnel while making sure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.
- Grain operations experience is required.
- Must be flexible and willing to pitch in and do whatever it takes to help the team get through the day.
Typical operations include:
- Unloading rail cars
- Moving high volumes of feed products
- Loadin out trucks to deliver to end users
- Managing a team of 10 employees
You will also assist with the management of maintaining grain quality and the upkeep of storage facilities. End users include dairies and other livestock operations.
This is an exceptional opportunity for candidates looking to expand their grain knowledge and work outside in a warmer climate where there will be no frozen hopper car lids or iced up equipment.
Love the outdoors? This is perfectly suited for the person or family that appreciates and wants to enjoy the outdoors. You will be located in a beautiful area within easy reach of mountains for hiking and snow skiing; flatlands for riding quads; elk, deer, bear, mountain lion, quail, pheasant, dove and about any kind of hunting you can imagine; fishing in reservoirs or in mountain streams; water skiing; and still be within an easy drive to all the benefits of an upbeat, thriving city.
Pay will be salaried, likely a base in the $80-85,000+ range and an additional generous bonus program and benefit package.
Qualified grain operations candidates desiring to work, live and stay in a beautiful area with a warm climate, please contact Jill Bushue or Dave Allen.
