The Role
Responsibilities include being a self-driven to a team of corporate paralegals and overseeing subsidiary matters both in the US and globally. This includes assisting with complex acquisition and disposition transactions, tax restructures, compliance filings and credit facilities. Additional responsibilities include assisting leadership with special initiatives as requested.
- Thorough understanding of, and ability to accurately prepare resolutions, contributions, assignments, distributions, intercompany loans, dissolution and merger documents.
- Partner with Tax, Treasury and Finance teams to support their global initiatives from a legal perspective and managing the process.
- Engage outside counsel internationally with respect to credit facilities, finance matters and tax restructurings and managing the process.
- This position will include being the lead on sanctions reporting every quarter. Experience helpful but not required.

- Experience with basic corporate functions such as merging documents, know where to find entity forms, knowing how to form an LLC, basics of merged, dissolved, acquire, and selling entities, moving money.
- Public company experience is a plus but not required
- Willing to train on the tax, treasury, finance and sanctions pieces
- Ability to take ownership of projects and finish them with little supervision (after training)
- Knowledge of forming new entities

Qualifications
Experience Required:
- Strong subsidiary experience with a large, global corporation
- Ability to multi-task and ability to maintain a cheerful outlook
- Ability to take ownership of matters and complete without being instructed to do so
- Paralegal certification by an accredited university
