Corporate Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary (Energy transactional work) – Houston
Duvera's client, a top global law firm with locations across the US, Europe, and Asia, is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary for their Houston downtown office. This role will support 5-6 attorneys on average and comes with a 37.5-hour workweek, competitive pay, full benefits including a pension plan, and a positive, collaborative HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Type, format, edit, and finalize documents, including correspondence and agreements, ensuring they meet firm standards.
- Time and Billing: Manage and proof daily time entries; assist with billing coordination as needed.
- Travel & Expense Coordination: Arrange and process travel for attorneys and clients, including expense reimbursements.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management: Coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments, and handle conference room and catering arrangements.
- File & Record Management: Maintain client files in line with Records Management standards.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with new client/matter processing, expense reports, and task tracking using the Quest system.
