Our client, a respected law firm specializing in family law, is seeking a motivated and experienced Paralegal to support their legal team. This role focuses on managing various aspects of family law cases while providing strong organizational support to ensure smooth operations within the department.

Focus:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and organizing case files.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal standards.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, court dates, and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to legal procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other agencies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits, evidence, and other materials required for court proceedings.
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, maintaining client records, and managing correspondence.
- Monitor office operations and provide administrative support, including managing schedules, coordinating team activities, and overseeing office management tasks.
Skill Set:
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Certification from a recognized paralegal association (e.g., NALA, NFPA) preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on family law.
- Proficiency in legal research databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management systems (Clio preferred).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal drafting techniques and a solid understanding of legal terminology.
- Ability to manage cases independently, while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and other team members
