Job Title: Senior Complex Litigation Attorney
Location: San Diego, CA (On-site)
Salary Range: $160,000 - $230,000
Duration: Full Time: Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Leading Personal Injury Mass Tort Law Firm in search of full-time, on-site Senior Complex Litigation Attorney with exceptional work ethic and a professional, positive attitude to join our growing team. Candidate should have a passion for advocating on behalf of victims of sexual assault and abuse, as well as persons injured by defective medical devices and other consumer products.
MUST HAVE:
- JD from accredited law school.
- Experience in Personal Injury ( Bodily injury / Sexual Assault / Defective medical devices injury )
- 5 to 15 years in Litigation experience
- Active Bar License in California State
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Self-motivated
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on and manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding their PI claims.
- Propound and answer discovery and assist with Plaintiff Fact Sheets.
- Conduct thorough legal research and case evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as case managers, investigators, victim advocates and administrative staff, to gather necessary information and support case management efforts.
- Coordinate with external parties, including medical professionals, experts, and other attorneys, as needed
- Participate in case review meetings, provide input, and contribute to the development of case strategies.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Interview and investigate forensic experts.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the attorney-client privilege/relationship.
