Job Summary
This position is a member of the IT development team and is responsible for the design, development, unit testing and support of the software used in system integrations. As a member of the development organization, this position is also responsible for contributing to the development of best-practice materials, and helping to improve Hub’s software development processes, tools, and techniques and monitoring of the integration platform.
The Senior Integration Analyst will help and contribute to the development of roadmaps and migration plans for integration of business systems, and infrastructure to streamline interfaces, reduce redundancy and business costs. The Senior Integration Analyst must have a strong hands-on development track record building integrations utilizing a variety of integration products, tools, protocols, technologies, and patterns.
Essential Job Functions
- Architect, design, develop, and test integration applications utilizing Boomi (formerly known as Dell Boomi) integration platform and other integration platforms as applicable.
- Design integration solutions and produce all design phase deliverables including technical design documents, system flow diagrams, data transformations, mappings, routing etc.
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and development for migration to Boomi Integration platform as a from the current Oracle SOA platform.
- Support building the overall integration architecture, helping to define the future state architectural blueprint and develop roadmaps to get there.
- Collaborate through effective communications with Business Analysts, and SMEs to achieve a very good understanding of the integration requirements of their projects and then design and develop sustainable integration applications to address those requirements.
- As needed, monitor the integration platform for any errors/ delays in transaction flow and take appropriate steps to fix the root cause of the issues.
- Lead a team of developers as applicable for a project.
- Proactively take ownership of an issue resolution or project deliverable to completion
- Provide support to build and enhance overall integration architecture, helping to define the future state architectural blueprint and developing roadmaps to get there keeping in mind the Boomi Platform.
- Communicate effectively to your manager, peers and other teams of progress and issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of Hub’s development environments and tools, software development methods and approaches, and production support tools
- Other duties as directed by management
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or similar field
- 5 years of experience developing APIs and web services using Boomi integration platform.
- Experience working on JavaScript or Groovy scripting.
- Experience working with Queueing Platform such as Solace, JMS Queues, Kafka etc. will be preferred.
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite including Oracle Service Bus, JMS etc. is a plus.
- Strong Emphasis on Pipeline development, JCA adaptors, JMS, XSLT mapping, security, and mediation.
- Experience building/exposing/consuming Restful and SOAP services over Oracle Service Bus
- 5 Years’ experience with integration methodologies, technologies, and integration patterns
- 5 Years Java experience with J2EE framework
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic server
- Extensive experience and knowledge of XML Technologies (XML, XSLT transformations, XSD and Style sheet etc.)
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service, teaching, and mentoring skills
- Proven software design, technical change management, testing, and upgrade/maintenance experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a projects-based, team environment
- Proficient in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
Other Skills / Knowledge
- Familiarity with MS SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2/iSeries databases
- Knowledge of HTML, HTML5, JSF and JavaScript tools such as JQuery
- Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, JPA, JMS, EJB’s
- Works well in a collaborative, cross functional, and multi-cultural environment with onshore/offshore teams
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
Salary Range - $110,000 - $130,000/year **This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand**
