We are partnering with a global parts distribution company who are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join their team in Milwaukee, WI.
This role will assist in the efficient operation of the company’s warehouse facility.
Responsibilities;
· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials or products.
· Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure that the right products are sent to the right destinations.
· Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality. Report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
· Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking procedures as needed. Ensure that products are properly labeled and stored.
· Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from safety hazards. Utilize space efficiently to optimize storage capacity.
· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
· Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipping documents, and other warehouse-related paperwork.
· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
· Work closely with other warehouse staff and team members to meet productivity and quality goals.
Skills Required;
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
· Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
· Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and tools.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
· Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
