Job Title: General Manager
Department: Senior Management
Reports To: CEO, COO, Operations Corporate Team
As the General Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing both the administrative and operational aspects of our restaurant. Your leadership will be key in motivating our team to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring we meet our revenue, profitability, and quality goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly financial information to the CFO or Financial Advisor to calculate our monthly cost of sales.
- Review, correct, and approve the monthly inventory reports before they go to the CFO or Financial Advisor.
- Approve the monthly cost of sales calculations provided by the Financial Advisor.
- Monitor operational costs, identify areas for waste reduction, and create an action plan to present to the CEO of MCK every September.
- Audit, manage, and prepare the necessary documentation for our financial activities.
- Ensure that all licenses and permits are renewed on time each year.
- Represent the company in meetings with the board of owners.
- Conduct interviews for front-of-house positions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; a degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Hospitality Manager.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a knack for motivating others.
- Solid understanding of management metrics and sales strategies.
- Familiarity with best practices in food handling and team management.
