Job Title: Quality Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Redwood City, CA
Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months with potential for full-time conversion)
Pay: $30-$38/hour (benefits available during contract period)
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and compliance through various inspection processes, as well as generating nonconforming material reports (NCRs).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control and inspection of incoming materials and parts.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections to support production.
- Generate nonconforming material reports (NCRs).
- Carry out line clearances, repackaging, labeling, and label reconciliation.
- Ensure proper identification of materials' acceptance status.
- Perform final product labeling and packaging inspections.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of QA or QC experience in the medical device industry.
- Proficient in using standard sampling plans and measuring equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
