Position Overview
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring excellent service and strategic support for our clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, fostering strong relationships, overseeing renewals, identifying upsell opportunities, and addressing client needs promptly. This role requires a keen attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: You will serve as the main contact for assigned commercial accounts, managing day-to-day service requests and account updates.
- Client Retention & Growth: Foster long-term relationships to drive retention and satisfaction. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the portfolio.
- Policy Management: Oversee policy renewals, process endorsements, and coordinate with underwriters to ensure client needs are met accurately and efficiently.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly respond to client inquiries, resolve any service issues, and work with internal teams to escalate concerns when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records, including policy information, communication notes, and service history.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal processes, keeping detailed documentation in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial lines account management or a related field.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (2-20) license required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policy coverages, and industry practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with insurance management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, client-focused, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
