About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage archaeological projects of varying sizes from initiation to completion. Responsibilities include overseeing project development, managing staff, participating in fieldwork, preparing work plans and technical reports, and acting as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviewer. The role also involves serving as a technical lead for proposals.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Anthropology or Archaeology required. PhD preferred.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist required.
- Meet Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for Archaeology
- 5-15 years of experience in Cultural Resource Management.
- 5-15 years of experience as Principal Investigator for federal, tribal and state agencies.
