The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role on the Human Resources team, assisting with and supporting all key HR functions. Serving as the primary administrative professional for the department, the HR Coordinator assists the HR team with ordering of supplies, answering employee questions, maintaining employee records, processing, and orienting new hires.
Essential Functions:
*Coordinates and facilitates employee onboarding and offboarding
*Answers internal and external HR related questions or requests
* Supports in recruitment process by contacting references and performing background checks on applicants and following up with applicants through various stages of the hiring process
*Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits and duties
* Coordinate and lead new employee orientation
*Maintain employee records
*Process employment verifications
*Support HR Department with recruitment
*Performs routine filing and audits of files to ensure compliance
*Prepare correspondence as requested
*Completes other duties as assigned

- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Human Resources department.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with HR software and HRIS databases (ADP preferred).
- A passion for mission-driven work.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of Human Resource principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
Salary: $24.04/hour. This is an hourly position working on-site.
