Join our dynamic team as a SQL Developer, where you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions that drive our investment banking operations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure our data architecture not only meets business demands but also adheres to regulatory standards, particularly in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop: Create and optimize complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, and functions tailored to our operational needs.
- Data Modeling: Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with both business requirements and regulatory standards.
- Data Integration: Implement and manage data integration processes utilizing cutting-edge cloud-based tools and services.
- Financial Reporting Expertise: Leverage your investment banking knowledge to ensure financial reporting requirements are met efficiently and accurately.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into precise technical specifications.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance database performance and troubleshoot issues to guarantee high availability and reliability.
- Stay Current: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices to continually improve our data management processes.
- Documentation: Thoroughly document data models, integration processes, and reporting methodologies for future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in database development with extensive SQL development expertise.
- Data Modeling: Proven experience in data modeling and database design.
- Investment Banking Knowledge: Required experience in investment banking financial reporting.
- Reporting Tools: Experience with reporting tools like QuickSight.
- Messaging Tools: Familiarity with messaging tools (near real-time) such as Kafka, among others.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- DBMS Knowledge: Excellent understanding of database management systems (DBMS).
- Performance Tuning: Proficient in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
