ENVIRONMENTAL ASSOCIATE (Attorney)
We are looking for an Environmental Law Associate with a passion for environmental advocacy and a proven track record in environmental law. With 3 to 7 years of experience , the ideal candidate will have a robust background in environmental compliance and litigation at federal, state, and local levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compliance counseling to ensure adherence to environmental regulations.
Develop strategies for site remediation cost recovery and manage related litigation.
Conduct transactional due diligence to assess environmental liabilities.
Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements with environmental considerations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience representing clients before key regulatory bodies such as the NJ Department of Environmental Protection , EPA , NY Department of Environmental Conservation , and NY Department of Health .
Active membership in good standing with both the New Jersey and New York Bar Associations .
