H.M.S. Careers is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager for a multi-award winning Marriott hotel located in rural Indiana. Relocation is more than likely as its very remote.

Job Overview:

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations to maximize profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This hands-on role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills to drive hotel performance, develop the team, and uphold the Marriott brand standards.

Responsibilities:

Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, control expenses, and meet financial goals.
Guest Satisfaction: Ensure superior guest service by implementing quality standards and resolving guest issues promptly.
Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team through effective coaching, training, and motivation.
Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including sales, marketing, food and beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the local community to enhance the hotel's reputation.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in hotel management with a strong emphasis on profitability and guest satisfaction.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
Experience in the nearby markets of Louisville, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis is highly desirable.
