Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in NYC construction as a Construction Estimator
Possess in-depth knowledge of the NYC construction processes
Must have significant NYC experience
Must have significant facade and roofing experience
Must have significant estimating experience in NYC
Strong project estimation skills
Strong background using software for estimating
In-depth knowledge of NYC construction processes, regulations, and codes
Extensive knowledge of all flat roofing systems from Soprema, Siplast, Johns Manville, Firestone, Carlisle.
Extensive knowledge of all elements of a Facade and associated replacement costs
Experience with AIA billing procedures
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage estimating numerous projects and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented
Requirement to travel to multiple projects within NYC on a regular basis
Living within New York City or within close commuting distance.

Responsibilities

Travel to sites throughout NYC on a regular basis
Estimating software for cost estimation
Manage billing and invoicing processes using AIA standards
Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address any issues
Provide leadership and guidance to other team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Maintains professional behavior and attitude on a daily basis
