Job Summary

Johanson & Fairless L.L.P. is a Trial Lawyer Firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. Applicants MUST be licensed Attorneys with 1-3 years’ experience, strong writing skills, and be highly organized and punctual. Be passionate about providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
Draft and respond to discovery and to develop a discovery plan
Develop and execute a litigation plan of action
Manage and prioritize multiple cases simultaneously
Communicate with clients and prepare initial and continually updated client reports
Manage client billing, budgeting, and case management requirements
Participate in and conduct depositions, mediations, and court hearings

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed and Eligible to Practice in Texas
1-3 years of work experience
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
